Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Citizen Login

Introduction

Follow the steps below to create a Citizen Login on the KSMART portal. Separate registration options are available for individuals residing in India and abroad.

Step 1: Start Registration

  1. Visit ksmart.lsgkerala.gov.in.
  2. Click Register at the top-right corner of the page.
  3. Select Citizen Registration.
  4. Select the appropriate option: India or Abroad.

SECTION A: Registration for Residents in India

Step 2: Verify Your Mobile Number

  1. Select India.
  2. Enter your mobile number.
  3. Click Get OTP.
  4. Enter the OTP received on your mobile phone.
  5. Click Verify to verify your mobile number.

Step 3: Start KYC Verification

  1. Click Start KYC.
  2. Read and accept the Declaration.
  3. Click Proceed.

Step 4: Verify Your Identity

  1. Enter your Aadhaar number.
  2. Click Get OTP and enter the OTP received for Aadhaar verification.
  3. Click Verify Aadhaar Details / Fetch Details, if prompted.
  4. Check the fetched details and click Continue.
Note for Applicants Without Aadhaar: If available, select I Don't Have Aadhaar. You may proceed using another identity document accepted by the portal, such as a Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport or PAN Card, by following the on-screen instructions.

Step 5: Complete Registration

  1. Ensure that the message KYC Verification Success is displayed.
  2. Click Proceed.
  3. Follow the subsequent instructions to access your KSMART Citizen Login.

SECTION B: Registration for Residents Abroad

Step 2: Verify Your Email Address

  1. Select Abroad.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Click Get OTP.
  4. Enter the OTP received in your email and click Verify.

Step 3: Start KYC Verification

  1. Click Start KYC.
  2. Read and accept the Declaration.
  3. Click Proceed.

Step 4: Complete KYC Using Your Passport

  1. Upload your passport as instructed on the portal.
  2. Enter the required document details.
  3. Click Verify to validate the information.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Click Proceed and complete the remaining registration steps.

Important Instructions

  • Use an active mobile number or email address.
  • Enter the OTP within the permitted time.
  • Ensure that all personal details and identity documents are accurate.
  • Never share your OTP with anyone.
  • Follow the instructions and document requirements displayed on the official KSMART portal.
